The brand’s general manager Vince Hudson told WWD: “Taylor is beautiful and inspirational with an effortless-chic style, making her the perfect person to represent a new, luxurious collection of products debuting on Cover Girl next year.” Wonder what’s next for Taylor—her own perfume?

Singer Miley Cyrus looked fashionable at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards over the weekend. And I’m actually starting to feel a little bit sorry for Miley. Not so much because of who her father is (even though she is dealing with it), but because she may be stuck under Taylor Swift’s shadow for the next few years. Taylor could sing in the shower and America would give her an award for it. I wonder who is more over-rated, Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift?

If you listen to the radio or watch any music award show then you know a little something about singer Taylor Swift. Uh, remember Kanye West’s big award speech interruption? We get a heavy dose of Taylor in just about every form of media and that’s because she is hot right now. Both she and her music, that is. Although Taylor is always popping up, we rarely get to see this 19 year old (soon to be 20 on December 13th) on the beach, and almost never in a bikini. I guess this kind of makes these Taylor Swift photos special. What a cutie!
Rolliing Stone: While pop queens like Britney Spears hid behind facades of innocence while powering up the charts, Grigoriadis believes Swift really is the “good girl” she appears to be. “For whatever reason she’s never felt a need to rebel from those values and that’s cool. I think she’s really focused on making her music and being, and she’s so involved in the songwriting and the technical aspects of it and just accessing her feelings like that,” Grigoriadis says. “She really is that girl in the tiny little bedroom at home writing songs about the things she hopes and dreams and feels.”

After Taylor Swift dominating at the CMA Awards in America last week, the greeting cards designer Swift looks cute as she made her way around London yesterday. She was wearing a red hat with a Topshop bag as she appeared on the Paul O’Grady Show yesterday. She also gave hint that she is in relation with Taylor Lautner.
She said: “I’m in the mind-set where I choose to be single – like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn’t have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!"

Taylor Swift Wins Big

Singer Taylor Swift took home four Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night, including Entertainer of the Year! Now, I don’t listen to much country music, but I do hear Taylor on the pop stations from time to time, and she’s pretty cool. Though many of country music’s elite were on hand, once the ceremony started the night belonged to Taylor Swift. She always seemed talented for her age, but she is now the youngest person ever and the first solo female act in 10 years to win the coveted title of Entertainer of the Year! Ok, so that’s pretty impressive, but she’s also a well-grounded celebrity:
“I will never forget this moment, because in this moment everything that I have ever wanted has just happened to me…. I never thought it was possible for me to win four CMA awards in one night, I’m so overloaded with excitement”

President Obama thinks Kayne West is a ‘JACKASS!’
Last night, ABC news anchorman Terry Moran turned to his Twitter to report an off-the-record comment made by Barack Obama.
During an interview on Monday evening, the President was asked during a break what he thought of the Kayne West/Taylor Swift drama. Moran immediatley tweeted his reponse:
“Pres Obama just called Kayne West a ‘Jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’s presidential.”
Moran was clearly in trouble after that one! An ABC spokeman issued the following statement: “In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion. This was done before our editorial process had been complete. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.”
Well….they didn’t deny he said it! Besides, if Obama did say that, he was correct! Kanye is a JACKASS! Should Moran have gone straight to Twitter with that? Probably not! But…damn…the public wants to know what Obama is really saying off-the-record! We deserve to know!
