Divorce done!
Deane Shermet filed for an divorce from LeAnn Rimes last week.Though it was a public divorce the settlement was a confidential one.The Los Angeles court document read: "The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy.”The bit that we know is that the settlement has divided the couple’s cash, property and other belongings.
Singer Rimes and Shermet will be officially single on June 19th 2010.The couple who were married for eight years headed for splitsville as Rimes has an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian.Eddie who was then married to Brandi Glanville, are also going through a divorce.

I knew it was coming!!
LeAnn Rimes announced last night on her website that she was filing for DIVORCE from her husband, Dean Sheremet! I didn’t know anyone actually visited that site, but apparently they do because it is the hot news of the day! LeAnn Rimes wrote:
“After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane [her husband’s given name] and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated.”
Umm…sure it was amicable! Did anyone think Dean would turn down all that money he deserves?! I hope he gets half of everything she has! Poor Dean…I mean I knew once they got married it wouldn’t last, but I didn’t think it would end this way! Eddie Cibrian isn’t even cute…or successful! Why would anyone leave their husband for him?!?! OMG…LeAnn must be on DRUGS! THAT is the only explanation for this!
If there is one thing I have learned, a cheating spouse NEVER wins! I know someone who divorced their hubby because she was a huge, cheating whore! She thought she would live happily ever after and be the hottest thing in town. Now, she can’t even hold a man…and she ruined her whole body with plastic surgery (especially her face)! She is the loser…LeAnn will find out the same!

Four months after rumors surfaced that LeAnn Rimes was having an affair with Eddie Cibrian, Cibrian has filed for divorce from his wife, Brandi Cibrian. According to the papers filed on August 24, Brandi and Eddie have been separated since March of this year. That was pretty much around the same time Eddie and LeAnn were caught kissing in Laguna Beach.
Brandi, Eddie’s wife of almost 8 years, confirmed that he filed the papers and and told E! News, “He filed yesterday, and I accepted it.” She also added that Eddie and LeAnn were planning a getaway to Mexico this weekend. Brandi said, “I’m looking forward to seeing those pictures.” She also said, “It’s just over for me. We’re both happy. This is going to be good.”
Meanwhile, LeAnn’s husband, Dean Sheremet, has left the couple’s home in Nashville and headed to New York. I have a feeling Sheremet will be seeing his divorce papers very soon!
HERE is the KICKER!! In the divorce papers, Eddie Cibrian has requested spousal support from his wife! WHAT A LOSER!! Doesn’t LeAnn have enough money for him? This guy sounds like a real jerk! I think Eddie is just looking for money and fame…he knows he can get it with LeAnn!
Eddie has two children with Brandi. Mason is 6, and Jake is 2. I feel the most sorry for those children.
LeAnn is a homewrecker, and Eddie is a complete idiot! SAD!

A few months ago there was rumor that they claimed LeAnn Rimes was cheating on her husband, Dean Sheremet. The tabloids alleged that LeAnn was having a steamy affair with her Northern Lights costar Eddie Cibrian.
LeAnn Rimes keeps her chin up – and enjoys the company of her Pomeranian, Virgo, during a day out in Brentwood, Calif., on Wednesday. She looks very happy and jovial mood. With her smile one can figure out she is much content with her Pomeranian not too much worried about the split. Later that night, the singer, who recently separated from her husband, laughed over sushi with a girlfriend at Takao.

Looking to be in a great mood, LeAnn Rimes was spotted out shopping earlier today (August 5) in Santa Monica, CA.
The singer looked casual cute in a gray t-shirt, jean shorts and flip-flops, and from the looks of it has retired her wedding ring.
At the end of July, it was announced that Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet split. Friends of the couple said, "They are leading separate lives and not staying together most of the time, but still in each others’ lives as best friends.”
Reports are saying although the singer has been spending time with newly-separated lover, Eddie Cibrian, she and her husband are still in touch and it’s unclear when — or if — they will seek a divorce.
