Rapper Kanye West had had lots of challenges and criticism during 2009 and he decided to do some humanitarian work to get some blessings. Kanye, 32, and his model girlfriend Amber Rose, 27, volunteered at a Los Angeles homeless shelter over the holidays, and spent several hours serving lunch.
For a moment they looked like by their attire that they both were only for fashion display then West showed up ready to work and went straight for the kitchen, put on an apron and got on serving duty.
The singer told TheBoomBox.com: “It’s just important to give back when you’re very blessed.
“It’s nice to spread your blessings and take time out, especially during the holidays to appreciate people who never get that appreciation.
“It makes me feel really good to come out here, with my family, and I just thank ya’ll, the Los Angeles Mission, for allowing us to be a part of this.”
The Los Angeles Mission is a non-profit organization that has been serving the homeless for more than 70 years.
Let’s stop and rethink, if we were too harsh on Kanye throughout the year? Let’s forgive all his mischief which he did and give another chance to become good human.

Last night, ABC news anchorman Terry Moran turned to his Twitterto report an off-the-record comment made by Barack Obama.
During an interview on Monday evening, the President was asked during a break what he thought of the KayneWest/Taylor Swift drama. Moran immediatley tweeted his reponse:
“Pres Obama just called Kayne West a ‘Jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’s presidential.”
Moran was clearly in trouble after that one! An ABC spokeman issued the following statement: “In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion. This was done before our editorial process had been complete. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.”
Well….they didn’t deny he said it! Besides, if Obama did say that, he was correct! Kanye is a JACKASS! Should Moran have gone straight to Twitter with that? Probably not! But…damn…the public wants to know what Obama is really saying off-the-record! We deserve to know!

Last night at the MTV VMA Awards, Taylor Swift won the Best Female Video for her track “You Belong With Me.” Swift, 19, was sooo excited! She jumped on stage and started her “thank you” speech. She was just as sweet as ever. Then, Kanye West jumps on stage and steals the mic from Swift. He declares that Beyonce and her “All the Single Ladies” video should have won, and “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!” He handed the mic back to Taylor Swift, and the 19-year-old didn’t have a clue what to do. I felt so bad for her.
Kanye West, 32, couldn’t leave well enough alone. He just HAD to jump on stage. He is such a jerk! The dude makes good music, but it isn’t that damn good. He must be on drugs.
Beyonce, clearly, wanted nothing to do with Kayne. You could tell she was embarrassed by him. West only approves of winners if they are black…clearly! He is a poor example for the black community.
When Beyonce won for video of the year, she invited Swift back on stage so she could have her moment that Kayne West stole! Beyonce showed class…(golf claps).

Kanye West needs to stop. Seriously. After Taylor Swift — who is just 19 years old, mind you — won the award for Best Female Video at the VMAs, Kanye rushed the stage, took the mic from her and proclaimed Beyonce had "one of the best videos of all-time."
