Michael Jackson Wins Big At The AMA’s!

Although Michael Jackson is no longer with us, he won four awards last night at the American Music Awards. By winning those awards he set a record for the most wins by any single artist. The categories he won were Favorite Male Artist in both Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories, as well as Favorite Album in the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories for “Number Ones.” His brother Jermaine Jackson accepted his awards on his behalf.
I have always been a huge fan of Michael Jackson. I’m glad he won those awards; however, I wish his sister Janet Jackson would have accepted the awards for him. Jermaine accepted those awards and thanked his own family (Jermaine’s children, wife, etc). I’m sorry…BUT…Jermaine’s wife and children have NOTHING to do with Michael’s success! On the first award, Jermaine even brought his own children on stage. Those kids have NOTHING to do with Michael’s success. They are such sponges! During the second award, Jermaine even thanked ALLAH! Seriously?! My whole thing is…would Michael have thanked Allah?! Michael always stuck to thanking his fans! He thanked his fans and everyone that worked with him. He didn’t bring all this religion into his thank you speeches. Jermaine made it HIS speech…talking about The Jackson Five….ummm those days are OVER! Jermaine knows he will never receive an award for anything he will ever do. Michael had the talent. I think his family was very jealous of that. I think they will do the same thing when Janet dies. It’s sad.
