Anti fun group PETA uses US first Lady Michelle Obama’s image in a new advertising campaign without seeking her permission.
PETA’s new slogan goes as ‘fur-free and fabulous!’. The new advertisement features Michelle Obama with Oprah Winfrey, singer Carrie Underwood & supermodel Tyra Banks.
Though we have not seen Miss. Obama wearing fur during recent times. Ingrid Newkirk, president of PETA should have a courtesy to intimate Obama’s. After coming under fine she has apologized for using U.S first lady’s portrait into the ad All done for money and publicity!

The famous American media personality Tyra Banks, 36, after five seasons, two Daytime Emmy awards and too many girl-power episodes to count, Tyra Banks is announces the end of The Tyra Banks Show.
In an exclusive interview with People TV, she said quits: "This will be the last season of The Tyra Show, I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years. My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks says.
She has taken such a big step after the encouragement and motivation from Oprah Winfrey. With Oprah’s big announcement this year which boosted Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing.
“There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart,” Banks writes in an open letter on her Web site tyra.com. “And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.”
Our fashion fiends need not have to worry. America’s Next Top Model is slated to return for its 14th season in February along with Banks’s ABC show ‘True Beauty’.

Oprah Winfrey is a cultural phenomenon in many ways, but not to everyone. Although she’s mostly appealed to middle-aged women, she’s also had her share of controversy. But who hasn’t? Today Oprah will announce that she is ending her television show 2011 after 25 years since its first national broadcast. Talk about a surprise!
Toronto Sun: “Winfrey, who from a seat on the couch of her set in Chicago’s West Loop neighbourhood became a billionaire and one of the most powerful women in entertainment, plans to announce the final date for her show during a live broadcast on Friday, said Harpo Productions Inc. A Harpo spokeswoman declined to comment Thursday when asked if Oprah’s decision to end the show meant she planned to retire, or would move her broadcasting efforts onto a long-rumoured Oprah network.”

The creative director of Gap Patrick Robinson - who will be presiding over the fashion event alongside US talk show host Oprah Winfrey - is particularly taken with the event’s theme, ‘American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity’.
He explained to GraziaDaily.co.uk: "Gap is honoured to be invited by The Met to participate - supporting art and culture has always been at the heart of the brand. We are excited by the theme as this feels like a really natural fit - hopefully in our 40 years we have done just this by delivering versatile American style.
"I love that this exhibition speaks to how the American woman is multi-dimensional - she’s about high fashion and she’s about everyday fashion. Which is why I’m thrilled Oprah is our co-chair for the Gala benefit as she epitomises this versatility and has played such a significant part in shaping everything about today’s woman."
Patrick is equally as thrilled with the way Gap’s latest collection has been received.
He explained the Pierre Hardy boots, T-shirts with silk pockets and denim gilets are so popular the company has had to start a waiting list.
Gap employees can’t get enough of the slim-fitting chinos, boyfriend shirts and pea coats.
Patrick added: "Look out for our new take on the classic Gap grey sweatshirt - which I predict will be the essential easy luxe piece for 2010."

In “fat again” news, Oprah’s fat again. She reveals in January’s O magazine that she’s gained 40 pounds since 2006 and once again weighs over 200. The talk show host told the Associated Press:
“I look at my thinner self and think, `How did I let this happen again?’ I’m embarrassed. I’m mad at myself. When it comes to maintaining my health I didn’t just fall off the wagon. I let the wagon fall on me. I didn’t follow my own fundamental rule of taking care of self first.”
In 2005, Winfrey said she starved herself for four months to lose weight. Ever since, her weight has yo-yoed. She weighed as much as 237 pounds and by late 1990 acknowledged she had regained most of the 67 pounds, saying “I’ll never diet again.” (Source)
No wonder she gained weight. When you’re as wealthy as Oprah, you can afford finer dining luxuries like rich creamy sauces, gourmet cheeses, and succulent pre-schoolers. That said, a billionaire like her should never be fat — she can afford to have a trainer, nutritionist, or Samantha Ronson’s finger on hand to keep her weight down. Of course if Oprah really wants to induce vomiting, she could always try ipecac lima beans watching her own show.

Oprah forced to poop like a normal person
During Barack Obama’s post-election speech in Chicago on Tuesday night, Oprah Winfrey was *gasp* forced to use a porta-potty. It was the first time in her life she’s ever used one. Via Starpulse:
Millions of Americans saw the talk show queen in tears during Obama’s moving post-election speech in Chicago, Illinois’ Grant Park - and Winfrey was so determined not to miss a word, she kept her legs crossed and dashed for a porta-potty as the new President left the stage.
She says, “In all these years at every event, I’ve said, ‘No, I’m not going to do the porta-potty’ but I said I better use it.” (Source)
This story has to be fake. Not that it’s beneath Oprah to take a monster dump in a porta-potty mind you — it’s just that my analytical mind will not bend enough to accept this as fact. First, I didn’t hear anything regarding hundreds of people dying in Chicago Tuesday night, which is a natural result of an Oprah public bilge dump. Second, unless someone finally figured out how to collapse space/time, how do you explain The Big O “dashing” anywhere and/or wedging herself into a portable toilet?

At $385 million a year, can you imagine how much money Oprah has to pay in taxes? The poor thing. There’s no way I’d want to have to shell out that kind of money to the government every April. Nope, I’m happy just the way I am with my Ramen Noodles, 12 Guatemalan roommates, and scurvy. Besides, if you want to be fat, gay, and old you don’t need to make hundreds of millions of dollars a year . . . you just need to be this guy.
