Recently we heard that ‘It’s On with Alexa Chung’ was a big flop and MTV had called up the show due to low viewership but Alexa was able to win the hearts of the US style pundits by her quirky style.
And here some cheers for English television presenter Alexa Chung who has been crowned 2009’s queen of style by fashion barometer Vogue.com.
Though she fashionable, but it is difficult to ignore the fact that Alexa Chung is incredibly thin and she does tremendous care her twig limbs.
Audrey Tautou was in second place and Sex And The City’s hottie SJP was third.
X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue both made it into the Top 10, with Cheryl clinching fourth place and Dannii in fifth.
Harry Potter actress Emma Watson was sixth while stylish Sienna Miller was seventh.
Actresses Diane Kruger and Freida Pinto came eighth and ninth, ahead of supermodel and fashion icon Kate Moss who was in 10th place. Lady Gaga, known for her mind-boggling futuristic outfits, came out at No 11 in the list.
Other celebs who got a mention included Angelina Jolie, Anna Friel and Beth Ditto. And Posh doesn’t even get a look in.

Emma Watson attended all the design meetings for her fashion range.
The ‘Harry Potter’ actress has teamed up with People Tree for a new ethical clothing range and was keen to have as much input into the collection as possible.
Antony Waller at People Tree said: "Emma attended every single design meeting over the five-month process. She doesn’t want to be known as a designer but wanted to give her input and ideas wherever she could."
Emma, 19, was keen to launch a fashion range aimed at 16 to 24-year-olds but wanted to do something that was environmentally friendly.
Anthony added to GraziaDaily.com: "Emma has a big interest in fashion but she’s also passionate about the environment and humanitarian causes. She approached us directly about creating a line to combine these two ideas. Obviously she is the target buyer age herself so she can relate to them and knows what they want to wear."
Speaking of her new designs, Emma said: "I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.
"I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there."

Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Liv Tyler and Emma Watson were among the stars who watched the Burberry show at London Fashion Week yesterday (22.09.09).
The event closed the womenswear previews, and attracted a host of famous faces from Hollywood actresses to legendary photographers and famous magazine editors.
Models Twiggy, Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe, photographer Mario Testino, actress-and-designer Mary-Kate Olsen, TV presenter Alexa Chung, actress Freida Pinto, actor Dev Patel, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour and French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld all sat front row.
The show marked Burberry’s first at London Fashion Week for 10 years, with the brand deciding not to show in Milan as usual to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the UK capital’s fashion week.
Burberry Prorsum - Latin for forward - showed the iconic trench coat for which the brand is famed.
It came down the runway in gabardine, as well as silk satin, leather and suede, and in shades of pink, lavender, silver and gold.
Keen to add his own stamp to the iconic piece, designer Christopher Bailey shortened it to mid-thigh and added puff sleeves.
Also featured were short skirts of silk chiffon, cashmere jumpers, leggings and skill trousers.
Gwyneth said after the show: "London is where it’s at. It inspires the world."
Anna was also quick to praise the event, saying: "This is a great night for London."
Other designers to show yesterday included Amanda Wakeley, Fashion East, Basso and Brooke and Jonathan Saunders.

The ‘Harry Potter’ actress Emma Watson has teamed up with People Tree for the new collection, which is aimed at people aged 16 to 24.
She said: "I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.
"I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there."
Emma – who is the face of Burberry – has taken on the role of creative adviser for the new line, which comprises cotton skirts, T-shirts, jersey garments and jewellery.
She tried to inject some of her own personal style into the pieces, and used her favourite locations, including South France, London and music festivals, as inspiration.
There are 26 women’s pieces and 15 men’s looks in the range, which is largely made from organic and fairly traded cotton.
The collection is handmade by fair trade groups, and helps people make money in Bangladesh, India and Nepal.
The collection will hit stores in February 2010.
Earlier this year, the 19-year-old actress said she would only bring out a fashion line if she could guarantee it would help people.
She said: "If someone asked me to do something that was beneficial to a cause, then maybe I’d consider it, but not just to be able to say ‘Look at me! I’ve got my own line!’ "

With the support of American Vogue editor Anna Wintour and the catwalk queen of va-va voom Donatella Versace, Glasgow-born designer Christopher Kane, at just 27, has become one of London fashion week’s biggest names. He is one of the hottest designer on the high street and his latest collection for Topshop is set to make him a household name
The Scottish-born designer, who works as a consultant for Versace, is constantly inspired by the Italian fashion house’s vice president.
He said: "Donatella is a great boss. She walks in a room and you are transfixed. You just want to hang out with her all the time. There is so much stuff she wants to tell you, and so much you want to ask her."
Christopher - whose designs have been worn by stars including Emma Watson, Rihanna and Freida Pinto - also revealed he was overwhelmed and underdressed when he met Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of America’s Vogue magazine.
He said: "She smelled really good and looked immaculate in a Prada dress with gorgeous jewellery. She was down to earth and focused.
"I was in scruffy jeans and I was stinking."
Christopher’s collection for UK high street chain Topshop will be available in stores this autumn.

Emma Watson has grown up quite a bit over the past few years I must say. I’ve really never paid much attention to her up until recently. That’s probably because she is legal now! I do admit that these Teen Vogue pictures make her look quite mature…oh and also pretty cute as well!

Emma Watson is all grown up and heading to the states for college. And although she is excited, she hopes that she doesn’t get stuck with a Harry Potter fan.
“As long as there are no Harry Potter posters on the wall, I will be fine and happy. Oh Goad, it’s part luck, isn’t it. We’ll see,” she tells.
Meanwhile, Daniel Radcliffe joked with his 19-year-old costar, saying, “I really hope they are a really massive Harry Potter fan. I hope you walk in and the first thing you see is your face on a duvet.”
And although it’s something to look forward to, Watson isn’t afraid to say that she will be homesick. She will be attending an Ivy League college in late August to earn a liberal arts degree possibly in English literature or Art.
"I will miss marmite, baked beans, London taxis and the rain!" Watson explained. "I may have to bring boxes full of marmite and baked beans with me."
Besides not wanting a diehard fan, Watson says she would love a polite and tidy roommate. “Cleanliness is good. Hopefully I’m reasonably okay to live with.”
When it comes to acting, however, the Hermione Granger actress wants to remain a good student but keep to her acting grounds.
"I definitely want to continue. I’ve managed to juggle and balance studying and working well enough to this point so I can’t see why I can’t keep doing that," she said. "But I am looking forward to being a normal teenager and want a normal experience for a bit. Just a little bit of normality for a while would be nice."
And like she said, being normal is important, which means living in the dorm. "If I’m going to do this experience, I’m going to do it properly and going to do it like everyone else," she said.

What was originally some normal pictures of Emma Watson attending a premiere for the new Harry Potter movie became something a lot more exciting with the addition of her underwear. It is slightly disappointing that Emma is actually wearing underwear, but I’ll forgive her for that with the inclusion of some nice cleavage! I can’t really say I pay much attention to Emma Watson, but she’s more than welcome to come by my house and show me her underwear any time. I think they’d look better on my floor anyway!
