Heather Gets Busted Again

She’s still on probation for a previous driving offense, but Heather Locklear is in trouble again! The “Melrose Place” star was arrested this weekend after an early morning accident near her Westlake Village home. A car moved down a “no parking” sign, and the damage was traced back to a black BMW belonging to the actress.

While she was not taken into custody, Heather will have to answer to the hit-and-run charges in court. This wouldn’t be that big a deal, if it weren’t the fact that Heather is still on probation after pleading no contest to reckless driving in January 2009, following her arrest for driving under the influence of prescription drugs. If this new arrest is judged to be a violation of her parole, the actress could be facing up to 90 days in the slammer!

The big mystery is whether Heather was under the influence again when she hit the sign. Is that why she took off? With her TV show facing cancellation any day now, this is not a good time for Heather to be having more legal problems.

Miss Teen Lousiana is under arrest

Miss Teen Louisiana 2008, Lindsey Evans, was stripped of her title earlier today because of an arrest over the weekend. Seems that Lindsey was none to happy with her $46.07 bill at a local restaurant so she simply got up and walked out. Without her purse. Which was full of weed. Oops. The sponsor of the pageant, Paula Miles, told TMZ:

“Lindsey Evans has been part of an organization that believes in opportunities when earned and consequences when warranted. Due to recent circumstances, Lindsey has been relieved of her duties as Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2008 effective immediately.” (Source)

Paula continued, “As soon as we can find a teenager that’s not pregnant, we’ll crown an interim champion.”

Heather Locklear is under arrest

Heather Locklear was arrested Saturday afternoon in the wealthy town of Montecito, California on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication. Us Weekly says:

Locklear, 47, was pulled over by California Highway Patrol after a resident reported that she was driving “erratically.” Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall told the AP that the responding officer spotted Locklear’s car parked on a state highway blocking a lane. “In talking with her, the officer determines that she seems to be under the influence of something,” Marshall said. Locklear was taken into custody, tested for drugs and alcohol, booked and released. (Source)

In Locklear’s defense, it’s crazy how much that state highway looks like a parking lot when you’re high on Vicodin and Percocet.

Hayden Panettiere’s father, Alan, has been formally charged with misdemeanor battery after he punched his wife in the face during an argument last month. Though Hayden tried to downplay the incident saying her family is “wonderful, happy, and great,” dude, her dad definitely punched her mom in the face. From People:

Panettiere, 49, faces arraignment on Oct. 11. If convicted, he faces up to a year in county jail. Alan Panettiere was arrested Aug. 11 at the family’s West Hollywood home after he “struck his wife (Lesley Vogel) one or two times on the cheek causing bruising with a closed fist,” a sheriff’s spokesman said. The couple had returned from a charity event hosted by their daughter. Another sheriff’s official confirmed that alcohol was involved. (Source)

Who knew Hayden’s mom had a problem listening? Just kidding, domestic abuse is something that should never be made light of . . . unless it’s happening to rich and famous people. What the article fails to mention is that the “charity event” Hayden’s parents had been attending earlier in the night was for a Battered Women’s Shelter . . . which coincidentally, is where Alan learned his “moves.”

NOTE TO ALAN PANETTIERE: Flipping off your son and daughter is so not cool. You already beat up their mom. Leave the poor kids alone.

Rap mogul Suge Knight was arrested yesterday in Las Vegas for allegedly attacking his girlfriend with a knife. AP says:

The 43-year-old Knight was arrested about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and battery domestic violence. Police responding to a report of a car hitting a curb near the Las Vegas Strip say they found Knight standing over his longtime girlfriend with a knife in his hand. Police say the woman tried to run from the car, but Knight grabbed her. (Source)

I’m sorry but I just can’t feel sorry for this woman. She’s dating Suge freaking Knight. A knife attack every now and then is to be expected. It’d be like dating Kirstie Alley and being shocked when all your sugar and butter starts mysteriously disappearing from your kitchen. Mmmmmmmmm . . . sugar-coated butter.

DMX arrested yet again

Stop me if you’ve heard this before (like HERE, HERE, and HERE) but DMX was arrested yesterday outside a Wal-Mart in Florida. The rapper had a warrant issued for his arrest by a Phoenix, Arizona court after failing to appear for a pretrial conference on four counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of marijuana. E! Online says:

Although DMX’s attorney did appear on his client’s behalf Tuesday afternoon to provide documentation that his client couldn’t make it because he was hospitalized in Miami (he wouldn’t say why, though), the judge opted to issue a bench warrant anyway and raised his bond to $25,000. (Source)

I know DMX has been arrested five times this year but I think we should cut him a break. I mean life’s all about sixth chances, right? Oh DMX, I swear your puppy-dog eyes get me every time. I just can’t hate you!

Shelley Malil is stabby

Shelley Malil, the guy who played Haziz in The 40 Year Old Virgin, was arrested yesterday outside San Diego after stabbing his ex-girlfriend . . . 20 fucking times. Haziz arrived to his ex’s home late Sunday night and found her with another man in the backyard. He grabbed a knife, stabbed her, and then chased her through the home, also stabbing her male companion. The victim is currently in critical condition at a local hospital but is expected to survive. Her two kids were home at the time of the attack. A neighbor told San Diego’s KNSD:

“Her chin was almost entirely cut off. She had a huge gash in her arm that looked like a really deep wound that was bleeding profusely. She asked me to hold her and I could feel a lot of gashes in her back as well.” (Source)

He stabbed her 20 times? C’mon, that seems like a bit of an exaggeration. It was probably closer to 15. Give the guy a break. Who among us has never left an ex-girlfriend or two in critical condition? Those in glass houses . . .

Hayden Panettiere’s dad arrested for spousal abuse

Hayden Panettiere’s dad Alan was arrested earlier this morning for punching her mom Lesley. He’s currently being held on $50,000 bail. Lesley’s injuries were bad enough that paramedics were called, but she refused to go to the hospital. TMZ says:

Law enforcement tells us Alan allegedly struck wife Lesley at least twice with fist — a right cross to the left cheek, causing noticeable bruising. We’re told both had definitely been drinking.

Alan told cops when they arrived, “I’m Alan. Yeah, I just got into an argument with my drunk wife.” We’re also told Alan “clearly” was under the influence. Among other things, his eyes were extremely bloodshot and his hair was a mess.

Lesley is the one who called the cops and when they came she asked them to arrest her hubby. (Source)

What an asshole. My dad taught me at a young age that under no conditions should I ever hit a woman. Because verbal abuse leaves no marks, you see. There’s only so many times you can use the “she tripped and fell into the coffee table” excuse before the local authorities start to catch on. And then how are you supposed to get your point across to your wife that you like your goddamn pasta cooked al dente!

Nikki Blonsky arrested in the Turks and Caicos

Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky was arrested late last Friday after getting into a huge brawl with former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden in the departure lounge of the Providenciales International Airport in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Wait . . . what? From Star:

Nikki was saving seats for her family members and Bianca’s family wanted to sit. A huge fight erupted and both families yelled, cursed and became physical. The action got so heated that one member of Bianca’s family allegedly bit Nikki’s foot.

Both Nikki and Bianca were arrested and charged with assault. Nikki’s father was also charged with inflicting bodily harm allegedly getting physical with Bianca’s mother, who reportedly was so badly injured that she was flown off the island to Miami.

Nikki, who was seen wearing a neck brace in court earlier today, and Bianca have been released on bail, but Nikki’s father must remain in jail until Aug. 8. The three will have to return to the Caribbean island this fall for a court date. (Source)

Have you seen Nikki Blonsky? She wasn’t saving seats for her family, she needed all three of them for herself! And is anyone surprised one of Bianca’s family members tried to bite Nikki’s foot? If they look anything like their daughter, they must be starving. One has to wonder if Mike Tyson had seen these two fight, if he’d have been reminded of a professional boxing match . . . since it had biting, a ring-card girl (Bianca), and Butterbean (Nikki).
